nightmare on diamond street

from about 1am until god knows when, this was happening below my bedroom window:


i couldn't quite figure out what the emergency was, but it involved two fire trucks, an ambulance, and a few police cars.

once i realized that the neighborhood was not on fire, i was able to block out the endless flashing lights just long enough to fall asleep.

also, today is my mother's birthday!
also, i only have 9 more days in my twenties!
also, you all should come to my birthday party.
