the woman with the golden womb

so i was just outside eating my salad on the steps of St. Patrick's cathedral when this motorcade came along. it was a pretty small one: just a couple of police cars in the front, then two black suburbans, then two more police cars. the second suburban didn't have tinted windows so i could see right into it. well, if it wasn't good ol' H.W. Bush 41 and the mother of our current chief, Barbara.

i think that was officially my first presidential sighting. yep. this picture is of the whole bush clan. it's amazing. i love the way they put george 43 in the very back, sort of hidden-like. it's so perfect. also, the one bush twin, jenna maybe? she looks just like her dad, but in the form of a young girl. it always creeps me out.

speaking of creeping out, how about that hot zell miller on dick cheney action last night? ga-ross! what do you folks in other parts of the world think of all of this 9-11 stuff? i mean, jesus, the republicans might as well start up a twin towers theme park already. that is ALL they talk about. prez bush even watched cheney's speech in a firehouse in Queens last night. i think everyone in nyc really wants to move on from all that stuff and let things heal over, but this whole week has not helped very much.

also, i hear that when george gives his speech tonight, he is going to be shooting up from under the stage all bon jovi style. i really hope that happens, it would be so hilarious. come to think of it, they should have done the reverse after schwarzenegger spoke the other night...they could have slowly lowered him beneath the stage and right before he went all the way under, the camera could have zoomed in on his hand as he gave a slow thumbs up like at the end of Terminator 2 when he lowered himself into the molten lava. it would have been magical.

Yes, it's great how W is hidden in the background, but the greater question concerns the dude with both of the Bush twins in his arms. Who is this guy? Probably the Duke of Earl.
