As you may remember, I'm a huge fan of Rodney. News of him in a coma makes me really sad. But to cheer us up here's a couple of jokes...
I asked my dad if I could play a game and he told me to go in the backyard and play hide and go fuck yourself...
I said "Dad, I'm tired of running around in circles." So he naild down my other foot.
Oh man... there's a lot of things running around my house. Why the other night when I got home a naked guy was running around my house. I asked him why and he said "because you came home early!"
Believe me I could go on but I won't at least not with regular jokes. One of the best parts about Rodney's show was that he would take questions from the audience at the end of his set. The replies were great. Here's a few...
A guy askes "Rodney, how's your sex-life?" Rodney replies "Why don't you ask four members of your immediate family!"
A girl asked "Do you have an 8 x10?" Rodney's reply "If I had an 8x10, I wouldn't have to work anymore."
my all time fav though is a reply to a question you can't quite hear on the cd. I've always wanted to say this to someone but I haven't had the opportunity yet.
"It's a good thing your wearing a mustache...It breaks up the monotony of your face."
Ahhh Rodney...I remember one time Eide and Tanuel had a party and Larry and I sat in their hallway getting shitfaced and telling Rodney jokes to anyone who would walk by on their way to the bathroom. It helped that Dave had a microphone and a speaker for us to perform our Rodney show with. Wow, I think I made a post on your site today Tony. It sure is long enough. Hope you enjoyed the jokes and remenicing.
