Lights
I went up on my roof to look at the lights last night for a while.
Even five years out, it was still a pretty sad day here.
Being a glutton for punishment, I also spent the evening listening to the 9/11/01 broadcast of the Howard Stern show. It's pretty amazing. I sort of forgot how confusing that day was.

Those lights, to me, seem like the most fitting and beautiful monument to the people and buildings we lost. I don't see why they can't just keep them like that permanently. It is really pretty. The light piercing the clouds is just awesome. Even if they want to put new buildings there, they could just keep the lights coming up from the top of the buildings.
